The economics

Email marketing for business: why owning the system beats renting a service

While the list is small, SaaS is convenient. But the list grows — and you pay for every subscriber, every month, ever more. Your own mailing system removes the meter and gives control back.

Renting an email service

Mailchimp, Brevo, SendPulse and other SaaS
  • The bill grows with your list — per subscriber, every month
  • Your contact list lives on somebody else’s servers
  • Moderation: a campaign can be stopped and the account banned with no explanation
  • Shared IPs: your deliverability depends on other people’s campaigns
  • Limits on emails, automations and features — on every plan
The MailCore way

Your own mailing system

Platform + MTA on your server
  • One-time launch cost + an inexpensive server — no subscriber meter
  • The list stays with you only: full privacy and portability
  • No bans, no moderation — you set the rules
  • Your own IPs and domains: reputation builds up and works for you
  • Unlimited sending — volumes grow, the price doesn’t

AI & automation

Email marketing automation: an AI-driven sending strategy

AI assembles a strategy for your goal and writes the emails, while the engine adapts the campaign on the fly: it watches list reactions and spam thresholds — and decides which email to send next, and through which channel.

Turnkey

Turnkey email marketing launch

No need to figure out MTAs, DNS and warm-up on your own — we walk the whole path for you and with you. Six steps from request to a working system.

from request to the first campaign — usually 5–10 days
01

Request & audit

We unpack the task: volumes, the list, what you already have. If you’ve been sending — we find out why emails hit spam.

02

Stack selection & quote

Platform, MTA, number of servers and IPs — sized to your volumes. The budget is fixed before work starts.

03

Servers & domains

We source and prepare servers, IPs and domains: DNS, PTR — the technical foundation for reputation.

04

Install & configure

Mailing platform + MTA + DNS records + integrations. Everything wired together and verified with test sends.

05

Warm-up & tests

We warm up IPs and domains on schedule, track inbox placement at key providers and ramp to production volume.

06

Training & handover

We train your team, hand over all credentials and documentation — and stay around for support.

The result — your own email marketing system and a team that knows how to run it. No rent, no limits, no dependence on services.
Launch turnkey
We don’t vanish after launch

Training and ongoing care

The biggest fear with self-hosted solutions is “I’ll be left alone with a server.” Not with us: the system is handed over together with knowledge and support.

Team training

We teach your team the platform, segments and campaigns, and explain warm-up rules. Documentation and recordings stay with you — new employees onboard themselves.

Technical support

We watch the infrastructure, update the platform and MTA, and respond to incidents. Questions get solved in a chat — no tickets into the void.

Strategy consulting

We review campaigns, advise on raising open rates and deliverability, and plan volume growth without hurting reputation.

Why MailCore

Why teams trust us with their email

We don’t resell other people’s boxes — we live inside this infrastructure every day: building, configuring, warming up and fixing.

Our own products

We build Protosender and MTA-Hub ourselves. We know the system down to the line of code — not from a vendor manual.

10+ years in infrastructure

Servers, MTAs, warm-ups, blacklists — we’ve stepped on every rake in this niche and baked the lessons into our solutions.

Engineers on the line

Your questions are answered by the person who set up your system — not a manager reading a sales script.

Western and RU providers

Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Mail.ru, Yandex — each has its own acceptance rules. We work with both ecosystems.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about self-hosted email marketing

Short answers to what people ask most. Didn’t find yours — write to us.

Where do I start with email marketing for my business?
With two questions: do you have a list and what volumes do you plan. If the list exists — deploy a mailing platform and sending infrastructure, warm it up and launch the first campaign. No list yet — we start with contact collection and strategy. We’ll suggest the best route in a free consultation.
What do I need for bulk email sending?
Four ingredients: an opt-in list, a platform (Protosender, Interspire or Mumara), sending infrastructure — an MTA, dedicated IPs and domains with correct DNS records, and warm-up with deliverability control. Everything except the list we deploy turnkey.
How much does an owned mailing system cost?
The cost breaks down into server and IP rent (from a few dozen dollars a month), platform and MTA licenses, and one-time rollout work. The total depends on volume — a system for 50,000 contacts and one for 5 million are built differently. After an audit you get an exact quote; unlike SaaS, the costs don’t grow with your list, so payback usually takes just a few months.
How long does the launch take?
Deployment usually takes 5–10 days: servers, domains, installation, configuration, integrations. Warm-up of IPs and domains runs in parallel: the first campaigns start almost immediately at small volumes, and the system reaches full capacity in 2–4 weeks depending on your targets.
Is this legal? What about spam?
We build systems for legitimate email marketing: sending to your own opt-in lists, a mandatory unsubscribe link in every email, proper complaint handling. That is exactly what protects your sender reputation — spam tactics kill domains and IPs within days, so they hurt you first.
My emails go to spam — can you help?
Yes, that’s a routine task for us. We check DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, PTR), IP and domain reputation, then look at content and list hygiene. Next comes a recovery plan: fix the records, re-warm, or change the infrastructure. Start with a free deliverability check.
Can I migrate from Mailchimp, Brevo or SendPulse?
Yes. We export contacts with their segments and subscription statuses, move them into your platform and set up a smooth transition so the infrastructure switch doesn’t crash deliverability. The old service can stay for a transition period — we’ll help plan the migration.
What is IP warm-up and why do I need it?
To mailbox providers, a new IP and domain are strangers: big volumes from them look suspicious right away. Warm-up is a scheduled, gradual increase in sending so Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo see a stable, trustworthy sender. Without it even honest emails fly to spam — which is why warm-up is part of every launch we do.

MailCore System — email marketing on your side

Email marketing remains the most profitable channel of customer communication — as long as you control the tools. MailCore System brings together everything professional bulk email needs: the Protosender, Interspire and Mumara platforms, sending infrastructure on PowerMTA and MailerQ, IP and domain warm-up, team training and ongoing support.

Unlike rented email services, an owned email marketing system is not billed per subscriber: the list lives on your server, sending is not capped by limits, and sender reputation accumulates on your own IPs and domains. This approach pays off starting from lists of a few tens of thousands of contacts — and the bigger the list, the bigger the savings.

The tools are matched to the job: Protosender is the flagship platform with AI strategies and email marketing automation, Interspire is the proven classic for a fast start, Mumara is the enterprise choice for high volumes. Sending is handled by PowerMTA or MailerQ with policies tuned for every mailbox provider.

An email marketing strategy is built on data: list segmentation, trigger sequences, adaptive rotation of content and SMTP channels based on recipient reactions. We deploy the system turnkey in 5–10 days, train your team and stay on support — from the first warm-up email to million-scale campaigns.
